Russian and English Teacher

Hello! My name is Veronica Delimarschi. I was born in Eastern Europe, in a bilingual country (Romanian and Russian) and I am linguist by education. I have a degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the Institute of Continuing Education from Moldova and have over 7 years’ experience of teaching English and Russian. I have worked with students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I have also taught Russian and English via Skype.

My Teaching Approach: 

I use an individual approach and tailor Russian and English lessons to suit clients’ needs. I aim to develop conversational skills by working on various role-play situations, and explain and practice grammar. I consider that without understanding of grammar students are unable to progress beyond phrase-book standard and have very little chance of understanding conversation.We practice conversation, grammar patterns and phonetics. With advanced students we discuss literature, history and current affairs based on newspapers articles and watching TV news. 

I am patient, understanding, friendly, kind and responsible.
